PACIFIC BLUE METAL WET MIX PLANT
The Maximum Demand was a major concern when designing the plant at this site. With the installation of Power Factor Correction and Variable Speed Drives, the site has reduced its Maximum Demand. This quarry site has significantly benefited from the installation of these two technologies.
RANDWICK LABOUR CLUB
In 2008 EMSA designed an integrated Demand Management System to stop the Club from loosing electricity during peak consumption times. The project was included in The Australian Local Government Environmental Year Book 2011.
AGED CARE FACILITY
This small custom built Power Factor Correction unit install at an Aged Care Facility. It will save the Client $6,000 per year and pay for itself in 1.09 years. What a great result.
YATES BROTHERS SAW MILL
One of the largest consumers of electricity in the Mid North Coast had two Power Factor Correction units installed in 2001. Due to lack of information supplied by the installer, these units had not been serviced and the site had increased its Demand on one of the two switchboards. With some repairs and an upgrade the works will pay for itself in 9 months and save an extra $7,000 every year.
